MAXIMUM GAMES:

Each roster position has a maximum allowable games played of 82 games. Once your maximum games played has been reached, any players at that position will not accumulate any more points.

CONTRACTS:

Contract expiry dates are noted beside a players name, in the "Keeper Contract" area of your team page, on this site.

Ie. Ryan Getzlaf  (ANH - C)  Contract Expiry Date: June 2013

The date beside the players name indicates the last month the player will be on your team. The actual expiry date is the very last day of the playoff season.

CONTRACT EXTENSIONS:

Contract extensions are awarded to the winners of the regular season and the playoffs. An extension can be used on any player on your roster or for a player picked up as a free agent.

If your team has more than 1 extension, you have the option to extend a single player to more than 1 season.ie. 3 contract extensions can be used to extend 1 player for up to 3 more seasons.

Note:
The deadline to use a contract extension is the last day of the regular season. If it is not used by this time it will carry over to the following season. This means that any player on your roster, that has a contract set to expire at the end of the current season, will not be able to be extended and will be sent back into the next seasons draft.
To extend a contract: Post a message on the message board which player(s) you would like to extend and length of term.
